In sci-libs/beagle all links I found are wrong. https://packages.gentoo.org/packages/sci-libs/beagle: http://beagle.gel.ulaval.ca/ --> redirects to some google code page which redirects to 404. Searching via google found http://beagle-project.org/ which is dead showing version 0.2.3. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Beagle_(software) shows 0.3.9 as version but links to dead http://beagle-project.org/. Gentoo says 3.0.3-r1 is most recent version.
(In reply to Micha from comment #0) Indeed, current homepage (http://beagle.gel.ulaval.ca/) redirects to googlecode, but it's not 404: https://code.google.com/archive/p/beagle/ Message at the top of the latter page says the project was moved to github though: https://github.com/chgagne/beagle And new homepage appears to be https://chgagne.github.io/beagle/
