Comment 1 Andreas K. Hüttel archtester gentoo-dev 2017-06-08 20:34:16 UTC
Works fine here :/
Comment 2 Jaak Ristioja 2017-06-14 10:46:35 UTC
Same error here. It seems that this and similar import statements in krop should be written as

   from .kropmodule import symbol

instead of

   from kropmodule import symbol

Or, alternatively, the import paths should be amended to include the correct directory for these krop sources.
Comment 3 Andreas K. Hüttel archtester gentoo-dev 2018-01-01 12:15:25 UTC
I have no clue what happens here and/or if this is still applicable. Maybe someone from python@ could advise...
Comment 4 Pavel Kozlov 2018-02-16 09:01:55 UTC
I am getting the following error

Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "/usr/lib/python-exec/python3.5/krop", line 18, in <module>
    main()
  File "/usr/lib64/python3.5/site-packages/krop/application.py", line 66, in main

    self.readSettings()
  File "/usr/lib64/python3.5/site-packages/krop/mainwindow.py", line 202, in readSettings
    settings.value("trim/padding", 2))
TypeError: setText(self, str): argument 1 has unexpected type 'int'

For the app-text/krop-0.4.13.5

By the way, version 0.5.0 has released and ebuild is even there http://arminstraub.com/downloads/krop/krop-0.5.0.ebuild why not adding it to portage tree?
Comment 5 Bob Johnson 2018-11-20 03:07:19 UTC
I confirm the same error message Pavel Kozlov receives with the in-tree ebuild. Also, I can confirm that the 0.5.0 ebuild Pavel links to works when installed locally on my system. FYI.
