Neil has released version 2 which has a new more powerful customisation facility via .hlint.yaml -- any chance of it coming to Gentoo? Thanks.
One of hlint's depends is haskell-src-exts-1.18. In ::haskell there is still a bunch of packages held back by older haskell-src-exts: https://github.com/gentoo-haskell/gentoo-haskell/blob/master/profiles/package.mask#L8 Some of them should have been ported already by upstream. I'll try another attempt to move it forward.
