I'm aware and I was working on it but our webapp-config framework lacks the features needed to make this work out of the box. More web server configuration is needed in this version. I was in talks with the web-app team but other things have taken priority.

How about installing just example vhost config files for apache2 and nginx?

Adding Blocker bug on tracker since https://www.phpbb.com/support/docs/en/3.1/ug/quickstart/requirements says it only works <=dev-lang/php

I was aware of that but not of the older versions being EOL'd. I'll try to work something out in this time frame, even if it's not optimal.

ping.

phpBB has now officially removed support for 3.1.

Please have a build for www-apps/phpBB-3.2.2 ready ASAP
Comment 6 Christophe PEREZ 2019-01-12 15:53:02 UTC
No news ?

We have to keep php 5.6 only for phpBB 3.1.

Please, do something !

Believe it or not, I was looking at this again last week. It's ready bar some tweaking of the permissions. webapp-config's concept of this is outdated, which makes it awkward, but I have an idea. Just need to try it out.
