now (since july 2016) v1.10.0 on qt5 and can be added to portage

Great softphone, now working again with the proposed ebuilds.

Yeh, there are literally None voip clients currently in portage. I almost left gentoo because of this.

Personally i would recommend to try Jami (https://bugs.gentoo.org/712994),
it supports SIP + their internal protocol that allows screen sharing.
