Created attachment 463186 [details] emerge --info After updating perl-Sys-Syslog to 0.330.100_rc-r1 some scripts stop working (e.g. send-uucp; "Argument "0.33_01" isn't numeric in numeric lt (<) at /usr/lib64/news/bin/send-uucp line 56." is mailed to me every time cron runs this script). A possible patch is shown at the submitted webside. (didn't test it yet) I had a look at the source code at https://www.eyrie.org/~eagle/software/inn/ : The bug is fixed in inn-2.6.1 but not in 2.5.4.
Original Source-Code: bug is not fixed in inn-2.5.5 or 2.6.0 either.
Created attachment 475398 [details] inn-2.6.1.ebuild I have tried to bump it, but it fails to build with: /var/tmp/portage/net-nntp/inn-2.6.1/work/inn-2.6.1/storage/.libs/libstorage.so: undefined reference to `HISlookup'
This also have other three opened bugs :/
Its removal would also cause the removal of net-nntp/suck, CCing the maintainers of that one
suck maintainer here. Unfortunately I don't know much about inn except that suck can use libinn. Not sure how to help here.
