trace-cmd-2.6 is in portage. But looking that the git site, there are many new enhancements that are not included in release 2.6. Perhaps we could get a dev-util/trace-cmd.9999 version released that builds directly from the latest patches (commits) to the github repo? Other methods to get these latest patches into my trace-cmd are welcome if a better method exists. https://git.kernel.org/cgit/linux/kernel/git/rostedt/trace-cmd.git James
