"/etc/init.d/vmware start" fails - c.f. attachment following below

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. https://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=562384#c2 : mask higher libgcrypt
2. apply patch from https://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=558242#c1
3. vmware-workstaion builds, but fails to start

Please note at the beginning:

"/opt/vmware/lib/vmware/settings": No such file or directory.

and the final USBArb messages at the end.

Unmerged vmware-* ( depclean ) ,
layman: del vmware overlay  / add   a-new ,
deleted /etc/vmware ,
built vmware-workstation a-new,
emerge --configure --> new clean default /etc/vmware :

now /etc/init.d/vmware starts.

Still the same:

These logged failures in contrast to the beautiful output from

Started DHCP service on vmnet8
Started all configured services on all networks   [ ok ]

Closing as OBSOLETE : version 11.1.2.2 is not supported any more.

Please, note : current version supported by VMware as of today :
