"Changes in libinfinity 0.5.5: * Fix a crash in infinoted when nmap scans the infinote port (Rainer Rehak)."
Let's use this bug for gobby-0.5.0 and libinfinity-0.6.1
*** Bug 545394 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. ***
Please note: > 14 May 2015 > libinfinity 0.6.6 has been released. This is a bugfix release in the 0.6.x series. https://gobby.github.io/2015/05/14/libinfinity-0-6-6-released.html Ebuild is the same with 0.6.5. https://545394.bugs.gentoo.org/attachment.cgi?id=400472 For non-gnome users: please check configure-phase dependency handling for =app-editors/gobby-0.5.0 -doc from ebuild: https://545394.bugs.gentoo.org/attachment.cgi?id=403180
> For non-gnome users: please check configure-phase dependency handling for > =app-editors/gobby-0.5.0 -doc from ebuild: > https://545394.bugs.gentoo.org/attachment.cgi?id=403180 Seems this ebuild is finally properly handling doc flag (unneeded scrollkeeper/rarian deps when -doc are gone)
Created attachment 405902 [details] gobby-0.5.0.ebuild Improved version of gobby-0.5.0.ebuild. Added upstream's default build mode (with GTK2). Still incomplete (tries to build docs always if present app-text/gnome-doc-utils package).
Created attachment 405904 [details] libinfinity-0.6.6.ebuild Corresponding with attached gobby-0.5.0.ebuild libinfinity-0.6.6.ebuild (added build options for gtk3 and gtk (GTK2)). For Changelog: Please, note that gobby:0.5 is the last version, compatible with GTK2. Newer ones (development 0.6.0 and 0.7.0) will be GTK3-only.
Is anyone willing to proxy-maintain this? Tiziano, would you be against that? It seems that you are not having much time for this package :/ Thanks
(In reply to Pacho Ramos from comment #7) > Is anyone willing to proxy-maintain this? Tiziano, would you be against > that? It seems that you are not having much time for this package :/ [15:16:49] <dev-zero> mgorny: I stopped using it a long time ago, sorry I've asked for explicit confirmation if we should maint-needed it.
The libinfinity ebuild has a bug - I don't know how to fix it. Due to $(use_with gtk inftextgtk) $(use_with gtk infgtk) it will get an incomplete build when using gtk3 only!
All versions of gobby have been masked. CC pacho so he can close it after removal.
We (treecleaners) check for all bug reports when removing the package finally ;)
