gobby-0.5.0.ebuild lacks app-text/rarian as dependency (can not be built without it), attached fixed version
Created attachment 402748 [details] added app-text/rarian as dependency
(In reply to Beelzebubbie from comment #3) > gobby-0.5.0.ebuild lacks app-text/rarian as dependency (can not be built > without it), attached fixed version No! It is NOT missed, it it conditional (including with doc use enabled): doc? ( app-text/gnome-doc-utils app-text/scrollkeeper ) I use gnumeric Spreadsheet, which also depends on app-text/scrollkeeper, which depends on app-text/rarian, so I had app-text/rarian installed and missed this detail. Probably, I've missed doc use specific options (missed also in gobby-0.4.94.ebuild) at src_configure() phase.
Created attachment 403180 [details] gobby-0.5.0.ebuild Fixed ebuild (added translation scrollkeeper dependency to configure options). Another open issue find: docs are built depending not on use (and configure options), but depending on gnome-doc-utils/gnome-doc-utils package state (if it is installed, docs are always built, ignoreing doc USE state). Also this ebuild requires gtk3. Although upstream default (from configure options list) is still gtk2.
