Currently labelled "as-is" which is not correct. I find two files with distribution terms in the various zipballs: rgb3/rgb3.txt in rgb3_preview.zip: This archive may be distributed freely provided it is not modified in any way, and it contains the following files: pak0.pak - 13,874,965 bytes rgbtruth.wri - 13,560 bytes rgbtruth.txt - 13,205 bytes rgb3.txt - 4,718 bytes glrgb3.bat - 86 bytes winrgb3.bat - 82 bytes autoexec.cfg - 53 bytes config.cfg - 16 bytes You may not put any files from RGB3 on a compilation CD without the express permission of United Ranger Films. Please get permission from United Ranger Films before using any part of the production (skins, wavs, maps, etc) in other projects. blah/readme.txt in blahmov.zip: Copyright (C) 1997 Brian Hess and Mackey McCandlish. All rights reserved. This level may be electronically distributed only at no charge to the recipient, and may not be modified in any way. This text file must be included with the movie. This level may not be distributed on any CD-ROM without the prior, explicit WRITTEN consent of Brian Hess or Mackey McCandlish. There seems to be no license information in any of the other zipballs. HOMEPAGE is dead; the archived one at archive.org doesn't have any license information either. I guess LICENSE="all-rights-reserved freedist free-noncomm" would be a good enough approximation, but we would also need mirror restriction (which is problematic because SRC_URI doesn't work any more).
> You may not put any files from RGB3 on a compilation CD > without the express permission of United Ranger Films. Sounds like discriminatory non-free BS, which means it doesn't go in freedist or free-noncomm.
(In reply to Alexander Berntsen from comment #1) > Sounds like discriminatory non-free BS, which means it doesn't go in > freedist or free-noncomm. You're right, so I've changed LICENSE to "all-rights-reserved". Leaving this bug open for the HOMEPAGE issue.
No visible progress here. - HOMEPAGE is dead. - SRC_URI is dead, so distfiles cannot be downloaded. - Mirror restricted (must be because of the restrictive license). - No reaction from Gentoo maintainers since 20 months. I suggest removal of this package. CCing treecleaners.
