Please bump conserver to version 8.1.19. This is a pretty minor update: http://www.conserver.com/CHANGES For the version bump alone no changes need to be made to the ebuild other than ensuring the dmalloc patch is available for 8.1.19. There is one small new feature available at compile-time to require server certs for SSL. I would like to add a USE flag for this. Should it be present in 8.1.19 or should their be a separate ebuild 8.1.19-r1 that includes it? Also, what should the use flag be named - reqcert, req-server-cert? Reproducible: Always
Meanwhile version 8.1.20 (Apr 4, 2014): and version 8.2.0 (Apr 20, 2014) are out. Can you please reassure that they work? I'll add the recent versions to the tree then.

However, I do not understand the problem and I am not familiar with app-admin/conserver but we are looking forward to help you on IRC #gentoo-dev-help and #gentoo-proxy-maint and figure out what to do, so that we can close this ticket after ~5 years.
