Half of tests fail for notmuch-0.16 with xapian-1.3. I have no time to investigate it now. It is a luck that xapian-1.3 isn't stabilized, yet. I am blocking >=xapian-1.3 for all notmuch ebuilds for now. Reproducible: Always
I am CC'ing you because I'm modifying stable ebuilds, too. Should I revbump them, too?
What fails?

It modifies all stable ebuilds. I am doing no revbump, because it applies only to test phase. + 14 Sep 2013; Amadeusz Żołnowski <aidecoe@gentoo.org> notmuch-0.12.ebuild, + notmuch-0.13.1.ebuild, notmuch-0.14-r1.ebuild, notmuch-0.15.2.ebuild, + notmuch-0.16-r1.ebuild, + +files/0.12-0001-test-exit-with-nonzero-value-when-not-.patch, + +files/0.13.1-0001-test-exit-with-nonzero-value-when-not-.patch, + +files/0.14-0001-test-exit-with-nonzero-value-when-not-.patch, + +files/0.15.2-0001-test-exit-with-nonzero-value-when-not-.patch, + +files/0.16-0001-test-exit-with-nonzero-value-when-not-.patch: + Ensure test phase fails if any test in suite fails. As notmuch 0.22 now allows xapian 1.3.x, is this bug still relevant?
Thanks! Tests pass except of S/MIME, but it's not relevant to xapian-1.3.
I filed bug 583614 for the S/MIME failure. It's because gmime is built without S/MIME support.
