rss2email-2.71.ebuild installs a man page for r2e. Good. The man page is simply a copy of the Debian one, which means it describes the [-d dir] option which is a Debian-only enhancement: http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=425953 This can lead people to wonder why -d isn't working. Possible solution: implement -d by removing rss2email-2.69-config-location.patch (it doesn't seem to be necessary any more, because of recent changes to the r2e script), then patch r2e script to recognize -d option & set CONF_DIR accordingly Another possible solution: patch extracted man page, removing reference to -d
