Description Raymond Jennings 2013-06-18 22:51:59 UTC
NJABL is no longer offering dnsbl services for bopm, and should be removed from the provided configuration file.

Reproducible: Always
Comment 1 Jeroen Roovers (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2013-06-19 10:59:58 UTC
From [URL]:

March 1, 2013: NJABL is in the process of being shut down. The DNSBL zones have been emptied. After "the Internet" has had some time to remove NJABL from server configs, the NS's will be pointed off into unallocated space (192.0.2.0/24 TEST-NET-1) to hopefully make the shutdown obvious to those who were slower to notice.

bump?
Comment 3 Raymond Jennings 2015-06-06 22:14:26 UTC
Just to be clear, I have already disabled njabl on my own system.

This bug report is to have njabl removed from bopm's default config.

Which reminds me I should probably bump this upstream as well.

> Which reminds me I should probably bump this upstream as well.

Yeah, at the moment we’re just providing the *example* configuration straight from bopm. If upstream has released a version with this fix or published a patch, that’d be preferable. Though it looks like bopm themselves are recommending to switch to hopm: https://github.com/blitzed-org/bopm/commit/20a3406ad1c453a094e6be5b64ad45d9842c6f98

CCing treecleaners as this is dead in favor of hopm
Comment 6 Raymond Jennings 2016-08-21 16:19:53 UTC
Are you sure about that? I don't even see hopm in the tree.
Comment 7 Patrice Clement gentoo-dev 2016-08-27 13:26:34 UTC
This package compiles fine. Shentino <shentino@gmail.com> will be looking after it from now on and start sending patches. I'm removing the mask.

This bug is not fixed until the patch and new ebuild are added to the tree.
Comment 10 Raymond Jennings 2016-08-31 20:08:15 UTC
