The included help says for exporting of Text files: The steps involved in the text export druid. 1. Launch the Text export druid using, in the File, the Save As and selecting the "Text export (configurable)" file format type. Select the worksheets to include in the exported file. I can't find any "File type" "Text export (configurable)". I can export using Data -> Export Data menu This looks on purpose then, if you disagree, please file a bug to upstream suggesting them to also allow this exporting using Save As dialog
