the requested feature has been added here https://github.com/gentoo/gentoo-zsh-completions/commit/11318d44c91a315ddd5adf9697cb9dd71d7a62d1 however it has not been tagged for an ebuild version bump. furthermore a PR with various fixes regarding eselect is pending since march -> https://github.com/gentoo/gentoo-zsh-completions/pull/19 look like the project is dead
