This version of ncurses borked my BitchX, would not scroll new lines, just kept overwriting the last line in the terminal.  Re-emerging bitchx did not help -- had to revert to ncurses 5.3 to fix.

Yep, I've problems with nano when scrolling text (at least in konsole), reverting to 5.3.

this a request for a version bump ... this bug does not cover any issues you may have with 5.4

use Bug 43432 for that
