On both my amd64 and x86 systems, media-sound/qsynth-0.3.6 is flagged as needing to be rebuilt when the emerge --newuse flag is used. This looks like it's due to the new linguas handling introduced in the patch from bug 409997. Therefore reassigning to Qt team. Install succeeds when at least one of the available translations is selected, but fails when none are selected.
Fixed in CVS. Please reopen if any problems pop up.
