Description Piotr Szymaniak 2012-02-14 15:40:23 UTC
When package is emerged, it dumps LC_MESSAGES for many languages, whereas I have the line 'LINGUAS="en"' in make.conf.

Actual Results:
LC_MESSAGES contains unwanted files

Expected Results:
LC_MESSAGES should contain only files for selected LINGUAS

Um, this is taking it a bit too far. If you made it your project to go through the entire tree to look for packages that do not honour LINGUAS, you're going about it the wrong way.

Stop filing these bugs now or only file them for packages you show a clear personal interest for.

My problem is,aclocal is falling over in this way

cd . && aclocal
acinclude.m4:2: warning: underquoted definition of AC_REPLACE_GNU_GETOPT
acinclude.m4:2: run info Automake 'Extending aclocal'
acinclude.m4:2: or see http://www.gnu.org/software/automake/manual/automake.html#Extending-aclocal
configure.in:100: error: automatic de-ANSI-fication support has been removed
/usr/share/aclocal-1.12/protos.m4:12: AM_C_PROTOTYPES is expanded from...
configure.in:100: the top level
autom4te-2.69: /usr/bin/m4 failed with exit status: 1
aclocal-1.12: error: autom4te failed with exit status: 1
make: *** [aclocal.m4] Error 1
schrdlu-12
I tried making the changes suggested when running autoconf, but this wasn't all that helpful either.

I apparantly need lrszs to run minicom,so I can check which of my usb ports is which ,I have an ax25modem on one and my gps on the other. Any suggestions ??

KLike a catch 22 automake fails suggests aclocal which also fails
