It is very useful to be able to boot a system which contains the ddrescue program from CD, in order to retrieve, for instance, a crashed hard drive. At present I have to keep a copy of Ubuntu to have this facility. It would be helpful if the minimal install CD had ddrescue, just as it already had memtest86. Reproducible: Always
As with similar requests, I vote no. I'm open to add it to the admincd specs, though.
