www-client/surf uses xprop by default (e.g. to change url when ctrl-g is pressed), so, it should be listed as a dependency. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Run www-client/surf without having x11-apps/xprop installed 2. Press ctrl-g 3. Type in a new url and press enter Actual Results: Nothing happens Expected Results: www-client loads the new url This is easily fixed by installing x11-apps/xprop. However, I think it is better to list x11-apps/xprop as a dependency for www-client/surf. Note: This bug is similar to this other bug: http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=353105
Thanks for noticing. It's fixed now.
