Description Markus Peloquin 2011-01-06 06:11:43 UTC
After applying the patches in bug #342101, which really should find their way into portage soon, I get the following error when building:

I noticed kqemu and vmware-modules had similar migration problems: something to do with initializing semaphores and/or mutexes. According to below, openafs-kernel-1.4.14 should work with linux-2.6.37:
http://dl.openafs.org/dl/openafs/openafs/1.4.14/RELNOTES-1.4.14

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:

openafs-kernel-1.4.12.1-seminit.patch

Okay, this ought to do it. I don't think that AFS_LINUX24_ENV macro makes any sense but whatever. It compiles, and since I don't use OpenAFS really, that's good enough for me. Again, you should apply this along with the patches from #342101.
Comment 2 Andrej Filipcic 2011-01-07 08:50:32 UTC
openafs 1.4.14 was released yesterday. I will prepare the ebuilds today.
Comment 3 Markus Peloquin 2011-01-09 07:12:44 UTC
Thanks, Andrej! I just built openafs-kernel (1.4.14) with no patches for once!
