Why quassel[-X,server] installs:
/usr/share/icons/hicolor/48x48/apps/quassel.png
/usr/share/pixmaps/quassel.png
/usr/share/apps/quassel/translations/*
?

Because upstream build system does so,
report the bug upstream if you want to have this fixed.

We for sure won't bend buildsystem just because it install few unused files.
