Bug 340997 – media-sound/rezound-0.12.3_beta-r2 won't let configure the output

I started rezound, and no other sound app could work.

[ebuild   R   ] media-sound/rezound-0.12.3_beta-r2  USE="alsa flac jack nls oss vorbis -16bittmp -portaudio -soundtouch" 0 kB

1: the app should not by default use OSS, but ALSA

2: rezound --audio-method=alsa
did not help: the app does not respect CLI arguments

3: I edited the conf .rezound/registry.dat and changed 
AudioOutputMethods={"oss","alsa","jack","portaudio"};
to
AudioOutputMethods={"alsa"};
did not help
=> app does not respect conf file

4: app does not offer "configuration pannel"

5: app does not respect conf and arguments, and does not say why: no error reported in console

I post this for now; I rebuild with -oss and report back in a few minutes.

can't try -oss ATM; can't rebuild; maybe i will create a new bug for this <<can't rebuild>> part ... if it persists after a few things i can try ...

So, can add a 6th point, to the ebuild:

6: "-oss" (negated) flag is ignored, either by ebuild, or ./configure ...

That's a lot of bugs ... maybe want me to split all those issues them over different bugs ?

I also have a side issue, but, i will be fixed if you fix the 6 points above: in some cases, when some apps are already using Alsa, and I open ReZound ... several Alsa parameters are reset; I noticed in particular that the default input source, which I want to be Line, is reset to Mic quiet often when ReZound have any issue with outputs. It may also be an Alsa, or even kernel issue. Not counting a 7th point for this one.
