Hello, The Gentoo Team would like to firstly thank you for your ebuild submission. We also apologize for not being able to accommodate you in a timely manner. There are simply too many new packages. Allow me to use this opportunity to introduce you to Gentoo Sunrise. The sunrise overlay[1] is a overlay for Gentoo which we allow trusted users to commit to and all users can have ebuilds reviewed by Gentoo devs for entry into the overlay. So, the sunrise team is suggesting that you look into this and submit your ebuild to the overlay where even *you* can commit to. =) Thanks, On behalf of the Gentoo Sunrise Team, Michael. Created attachment 334956 [details] Updated ebuild to match current upstream state Updated earlier ebuild to conform with current file name upstream, changed src_install() to reflect current binary contents and removed keywords as per devmanual advice for non-tested ebuilds. Upstream license has changed, which I don't know how to handle as of yet.
I have a new-style multilib ebuild in my overlay: https://gitweb.gentoo.org/dev/dev-zero.git/tree/media-libs/libspotify/libspotify-12.1.51.ebuild?id=4f2317ab4788f8161bcc5f8a8b22e91f659812ac I'm willing to commit it to the tree if someone could figure out the correct license to use and whether we are allowed to mirror it or not.
libspotify has been deprecated and phased out upstream, this bug can probably be closed.
libspotify doesn't exist anymore upstream, and we can't rely on https://mopidy.github.io/libspotify-archive/ to be kept up to date
