Description M. B. 2009-07-21 19:01:51 UTC
i am re-installing htmltidy on my x86 server-machine. since i have quite i lot of packages to rebuild, i enabled distcc, on my amd64 workstation.

cross-compilation actually fails to work out and producing a segfault.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. enable distcc with x86 as the distcc client, amd64 as the server (though i suspect it works vice versa)
2. try to compile htmltidy

Actual Results:
[snip]

actually the fix is quite simple, just add eautoreconf into the src_unpack function of the ebuild. Patch attached.

+ Version bump to latest CVS sources. Remove xml use flag and html2db as it was
+ never integrated upstream and does not compile due to usage of internal tidy
+ API. Enable /etc/tidyrc and ~/.tidyrc config paths and build autotools
