This is the java herd, not mozilla. We might consider maintaining a convenience bin ebuild if the build process is significantly long or memory intensive. But.... java compiles a _lot_ quicker than C/C++. http://www.gentoo.org/proj/en/java/java-devel.xml will help you.

but the mozilla-firefox and mozilla-firefox-bin have the Mozilla Firefox brandings

I created a source-ebuild for Jameica (The Framework), the homebanking-plugin Hibiscus and most of the needed libraries. It works fine already but still depends on some binary libraries from the eclipse-project which do not have a gentoo-ebuild yet. Please help me to get this ebuild right and into portage!
