I guess sci-libs/camd-2.2.0 has a related problem with 32 bit arches:

These failures are not important, however not robust, so I removed the tests from the suite.

Just got the failure with amd-2.2.0. If you've fixed this in a higher version, please push it to stable.

sci-libs/camd-2.2.3  passes tests fine at a stable x86
