2. start xserver

Please read http://www.gentoo.org/proj/en/qa/backtraces.xml for steps to get better backtraces.

The one you've provided isn't very helpful.

Thanks

Thanks,
I tried to start X/Xorg through gdb, the whole system crashes every time.
I think that little piece of backtrace is not very helpful, too. I'll attach it anyway.

Comment 5 Rémi Cardona (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2009-02-23 12:17:01 UTC
You haven't read the linked howto properly. This backtrace is even less helpful than the first one.

Please read it over and re-open the bug once you have a backtrace with proper function names.

Thanks
