Description Mart Raudsepp gentoo-dev 2009-01-15 16:04:35 UTC
Because tests for some reason need the "co" program from rcs package and do something weird about it. Should be investigated what it does and perhaps even just disable some of the tests instead if that historic,v handling is bogus.
Comment 1 Jonathan Lovelace 2009-10-20 18:23:55 UTC
With app-text/rcs installed, the test using co fails; 6 of the 8 other tests fail for me, however, each with the error message "install-mbr:test-mbr: No boot signature found. Use --force to override." Version 1.1.11 (not yet in portage, but renaming the ebuild works without modification) passes all its tests on my machine.
Comment 2 Víctor Ostorga (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2009-10-20 20:45:38 UTC
Version bump to 1.1.11 and fix DEPEND on app-text/rcs when doing tests.
Sadly, tests failed on my machine

Provide build.log for this please
Comment 4 Michael Palimaka (kensington) gentoo-dev 2012-10-18 13:51:35 UTC
All tests pass for me.

Please reopen if you still encounter failure, attaching emerge --info and the build log.
