I could only continue with the new xorg-server.

But I see interrupted borderline in problem page.

Due to this bug, I needed to downgrade Firefox to 2.0. This bug doesn't occur in Konqueror and in Seamonkey on the same PC with the same environment.

I should think that the way it crashes prevents data loss. Saving files you're working on and making backups isn't something the fix to this bug will do for you. Now, it looks like X crashes and it is probably related to the system running out of RAM to allocate, so please provide some information about that too. dmesg should tell you why X was killed.

I can reproduce this beaviour too. FF3 crashes when loading a big page, and it also crashes KDE at the same time.
