Since at least on Linux glib does not depend on gettext (at runtime) could we get this in? Or at least get it in linked to a build USE flag or something like that? Thank you…
USE=build implies that the circ dep only occurs during stage building which is not the case. you can have a system without gettext or glib which means attempting to build them will fail. so no, that is not an acceptable option.
