Thanks for wanting to help out Gentoo with a mirror. I've added you to our test system, please make sure the mirror is syncing once every 4 hours as mentioned at http://www.gentoo.org/doc/en/source_mirrors.xml

Alright, I'm seeing some major lag :

mirror-fpt-telecom.fpt.net wants to be distfiles mirror and is being checked as per Bug #246258 over http

Seems like your sync's aren't working at all, can you please check?

We checked our mirror with command:
rsync -a --size-only --delete --delete-after ftp.ussg.iu.edu::gentoo-distfiles /path/gentoo
but data isn't updated.

Please tell me what happend?

We're sorry, but the mirror does not meet the required criteria to be added as
an official Gentoo mirror. You may re-open this bug in 6 months, at which point
we will re-test it. Please make sure that it is setup according to http://www.gentoo.org/doc/en/source_mirrors.xml.

You're welcome to keep running the mirror for yourself based on another public mirror, but it won't be on our mirror lists or rotations.  Thanks for wanting to help Gentoo out with a mirror.
