The Gentoo 2008.0 beta1 Install- and LiveCD show a GRUB command prompt, when trying to boot from CD in either AHCI or RAID mode. The CD boots fine when switching to SATA enhanced IDE mode. The motherboard I am using is a Asus P5E-VM DO and the DVD-Burner is a Plextor SATA burner

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Pop in a Gentoo 2008.0 beta1 LiveCD or Live DVD and try to boot in AHCI or RAID mode.

Actual Results:  
Shows GRUB command prompt

Expected Results:  
A nice booting LiveCD =)

Can you verify if this is still the case with 2008.0 Beta 2?

Yup, the exact same issue, still occurs in beta 2.

This should be fixed in 2008.0, which is now released.
