Problem is sys-lib/db-4.5.20_p2, with an other version (4.4.* or 4.6.*) it's working just fine

I see ubuntu has a patch for this bug so I'll try to get it in 1.12.3-r1
Sorry db-4.4.20_p4 doesn't work, same error. I thought it would work because my Notebook runs Ubuntu and there 4.4 works. So I could only assure that db-4.6.21 works under gentoo.
you are aware that there is absolutely no garantee that a given version of db will open a file created by another version, right ? I mean, if you first used evolution with db-4.6 and then tried going back to non masked db version (4.5), it is to be expected that things will break. In this case this bugs would probably be marked invalid.
*hmpf* :-/ used the evolution address book of my laptop and it works, must be that short time before db-4.6.* became masked because of breaking apr and openldap ...sorry :-/
