Hi.

When did this start happening? Are you using http or https? If https, have you updated openssl recently? Does this happen exclusively on the Gentoo forums or in other sites?
Please attach your emerge --info and consider updating to kde-3.5.8 if you're running ~arch.

Problem started today
Using HTTP
Running x86 with minimal ~x86 packages due to Intel 965 chipset and GCC-4.2.0 from stage1.

System was stage1 clean install on October 09, 2007 and konq has been able to connect since then.

Emerge Info:

Please test with a newer version, 3.5.7 is gone. Reopen if it is still an issue.
