Description Rickard Närström 2007-01-19 07:36:53 UTC
=kde-base/certmanager-3.5.5 will force >=gnupg-2.0.1-r1 to downgrade to =gnupg-1.4*. As we are moving to a =gnupg-2.0* only solution this won't work.

Well... It worked for me for a long time... And it seems to be fixed.

From the ChangeLog:
  09 Dec 2006; Diego Pettenò <flameeyes@gentoo.org>
  certmanager-3.5.2-r1.ebuild, certmanager-3.5.5.ebuild:
  Fix dependencies to accept the new now-merged gnupg package.

Can you please paste output of:
$ emerge --update --deep --tree certmanager
Comment 2 Jakub Moc (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2007-01-19 10:49:28 UTC
Not kde-base/certmanager-3.5.5

DEPEND="$(deprange 3.5.4 $MAXKDEVER kde-base/libkdenetwork)
        >=app-crypt/gpgme-1.1.2-r1
        || ( >=app-crypt/gnupg-2.0.1-r1 <app-crypt/gnupg-1.9 )"

# emerge -pv =kde-base/certmanager-3.5.5

These are the packages that would be merged, in order:

Calculating dependencies... done!
[ebuild  N    ] kde-base/libkdenetwork-3.5.4  USE="-arts -debug kdeenablefinal xinerama" 12,623 kB
[ebuild  N    ] kde-base/certmanager-3.5.5  USE="-arts -debug kdeenablefinal xinerama" 12,607 kB

# qlist -CIev gnupg
app-crypt/gnupg-2.0.1-r2
Comment 3 Rickard Närström 2007-01-19 10:55:25 UTC
Sorry, is seems like I had a old version of the ebuild in /var/db/pkg causing the problem...

I changed from partage to paludis a few days ago, and is not completely used to it yet.

After I reinstalled certmanager everything works as it should.

Please don't waste our time filing bugs with unsupported software. Thanks.
