Description Matti Bickel (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2007-01-13 22:05:50 UTC
No big story, fox-1.6.19 has been in the tree since Nov '06.
x86: i couldn't reproduce bug #157738, can you give it an extra round of testing? i'm not yet sure what causes that missing -lrt, but it didn't show on any trials of mine.
Comment 1 Paul Varner (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2007-01-14 16:56:26 UTC
It looks good here on my x86 system. If the x86 AT's do not run into any issues, I will mark it stable.

x11-libs/fox-1.6.19 USE="bzip2 cups doc jpeg opengl png profile threads tiff truetype zlib -debug"
fails here, looks like it doesn't DEPEND on doxygen:

without doc USE-flag it emerges flawlessly and passes collision test.
There is a problem with emerging x11-libs/fxscintilla-1.62 (maybe a newer version needs to be marked stable?!):

some for me on x86 with

x11-libs/fox-1.6.19 USE="bzip2 cups jpeg opengl png threads tiff truetype zlib -debug -doc -profile"

besides, i was able to merge and use

sci-calculators/calculator-1.6.19  USE="-debug -doc -profile"
Comment 5 Jeroen Roovers (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2007-01-15 06:25:34 UTC
Stable for HPPA.
Comment 6 Gustavo Zacarias (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2007-01-15 17:13:41 UTC
sparc stable.
Comment 7 Matti Bickel (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2007-01-15 19:42:23 UTC
Markus, thanks for the report. fox.eclass says this:
if use doc && [ "${FOXVER}" != "1.0" ] && [ -z "${FOX_COMPONENT}" ] ; then
    DOXYGEN_DEP="app-doc/doxygen"
fi
Obviously, it didn't catch your case. As of now, i've nfc why this didn't catch your case. WFM here. I'm looking into it, as soon as i find a solution, i'll update the bug.

As for fxscintilla, this is bug #153170
Comment 8 Matti Bickel (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2007-01-15 20:26:26 UTC
<@marienz> mabi: DEPEND is cached. If the cache is generated with USE=-doc it'll not have that dep even if USE=doc is later turned on. Should just set DOXYGEN_DEP to doc? ( app-doc/doxygen ) independent of USE.

Which i promptly did. Thanks marienz :)
Comment 9 Paul Varner (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2007-01-15 23:47:33 UTC
Verified that the doc use flag works properly with the corrected eclass. x86 is stable.
Comment 10 Bryan Østergaard (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2007-01-21 16:32:40 UTC
Alpha done.
Comment 11 Matti Bickel (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2007-02-02 09:48:20 UTC
Reassigning to amd64, ppc was done by me some time ago.
Comment 12 Steve Dibb (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2007-02-03 23:50:08 UTC
amd64 stable
Comment 13 Christian Faulhammer (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2007-02-04 09:19:00 UTC
x86 is stable
