- dev-util/valgrind-3.2.0 is stable on amd64, no reason to restrict this to x86 - uhm, honestly this should be a use flag masked on arches that don't have valgrind keyworded instead...
Ping; just make this a use flag use.masked on alpha/sparc/x86-fbsd... dev-util/valgrind is now stable on ppc/ppc64 as well, these arch? deps make no sense.
Ebuilds are updated. Jakub: You can only use mask, what has a use flag. Arch teams, if you can keyword please do so and update the latest kde-base/{kcachegrind,kdesdk} ebuilds as necessary.
Actually valgrind is a no go for other archs other than x86, amd64, ppc32 & ppc64, it's quite explicit in valgrind's homepage (it has arch-specific bits for each). So what do we have to do exactly here? It won't work on sparc or others unless someone gets coding...
O.k., maybe should not have been so lazy not to look it up myself. Sorry for the noise arch teams. Considering fixed, then.
(In reply to comment #2) > Jakub: You can only use mask, what has a use flag. Yeah, that was the entire point of this bug. Make is a use flag *masked* on unsupported arches.
Or unmasked on supported arches :)
