Description Daniel Drake (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-11-12 09:44:42 UTC
One of the blockers for the dotnet package porting to seamonkey is that the contents of the mozembed don't show themselves until clicked on. This is a seamonkey regression which does not happen with mozilla.

Someone on bug #137665 provided these URLs:

https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=312998
https://launchpad.net/distros/ubuntu/+source/devhelp/+bug/40320/

I have only looked at them very briefly, can't confirm or deny whether they are about the same issue.

This problem manifests both in liferea (the present version in Portage) and monodoc (as of my most recent attempts to port it to seamonkey locally).

Seamonkey has already had the patch applied in version 1.0.6. Update and let us know if this is still truely an issue.
Comment 4 Peter Johanson (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-11-12 12:33:47 UTC
I can confirm that seamonkey 1.0.6 fixes this here, double checking mozilla-firefox 1.5.0.8 right now. dsd, can you also confirm so we can mark this RESOLVED?
Comment 5 Peter Johanson (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-11-12 13:06:45 UTC
firefox 1.5.0.8 also works as expected here.
Comment 6 Daniel Drake (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-11-12 14:05:47 UTC
OK, seamonkey works here, this is a firefox-2.0 issue then.
Comment 7 Daniel Drake (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-11-21 06:37:05 UTC
Fixed in 2.0-r1, thanks
