Description Polyhead 2006-09-24 14:01:34 UTC
Gnome has a hard dependancy on seamonkey via epiphany. The fact is any of the Mozilla dirivatives will work for epiphanies base. But masking seamonkey away breaks epiphanies dependancies breaking gnome-base.

This should probably be handled via eselect. Since you should be able to mask seamonkey and still install epiphany.

If you really want to know what epiphany supports, please download the tarballs and read through m4/gecko.m4. You will see that epi-2.14 works with mozilla, seamonkey and firefox and epi-2.16 with firefox and xulrunner.

If you want, you can just disable the seamonkey use flag, and epi will gladly build against firefox.

Please close this bug INVALID. Thanks.
