Hi the attached backerupper.tar.gz contains the backerupper-0.5a.ebuild and the backerupper-gentoo-patch-1.tar.gz. the patch is needed to compile the source and contains an exampleconfig - i didn't want to change anything in the original packet. BackerUpper is a simple, easy to configure backup utility that will perform monthly full backups and daily incremental backups. Backups are created in the zip or bzip2 file format. backerupper is written by Kevin L. Ellis (kevin@bluelavalamp.net) http://www.bluelavalamp.net/backerupper/ the patch and the ebuild is from me, Sebastian Goth (seezer@is-root.org) i suggest app-admin/backerupper - donno why :) sebastian

As far as I can tell, this ebuild is empty... It's a text file that just has '1042564373' in it. Could you please resubmit both of these as plaintext? Also, that patch looks like a full C file rather than a diff - is this intentional?
seezer: please attach your ebuild as plain text. avenj: would you like to join app-backup?
I just create ebuild for this app, becouse previous ebuild deliverer propably dissapear :) Good category for that app will be app-backup.

hi all, BackerUpper is still available but via the following link http://www.skyloom.com/docs/backerupper.html In regards to the date when the bug was opened and now, and since the latest update on the website is in 2002, I am wondering it is relevant to put this in the portage since the dev stream seems to be stuck. If yes, I can make the ebuild for If no, can we close the bug? IssueMonkey
