I think Jorge needs a little bit more experience working with bash before given gentoo-x86 access. So please REOPEN this bug when he has gained experience via proxy commits or overlay work. I mailed the review log to mentors.
Jorge wants to join the kde team and maintain the desktop-effects packages. He did great work in the kde overlay and has been the main maintainer of the desktop-effects for the past year.
