it seems that the torsmo ebuild ebuild has diappeared:

http://packages.gentoo.org/packages/?category=app-admin;name=torsmo

and 

emerge torsmo

Calculating dependencies   
emerge: there are no ebuilds to satisfy "torsmo".

It was removed in favour of app-admin/conky which has a similar set of features.

Not coming back, use conky.
