CVS sources of weechat are available from savannah.nongnu.org.

This is an ebuild based on weechat-0.1.7.ebuild to download and compile
the CVS version.

Weechat developers provide snapshots at http://weechat.flashtux.org/download/weechat-devel.tar.gz

Would you prefer using this ?

What is the best way to do ?

We prefer CVS snapshots, as we can at least say that we tested the snapshot and it is known to work.  Otherwise the Live CVS ebuild must stay in package mask all the time and in general not many will use it.

Okay, here is my opinion:
1) gentoo shouldn't be a cvs-distri, there should be a very good reason to add a cvs-ebuild
2) I can'n see a reason to have the daily snapshot installed
3) if you want to install it, you can use the ebuild from weechat-home and portage-overlay

So let's close this bug, okay? What do you think, Gwenn?
