Markus will be joining us to help with general bug squashing for netmon and potentially helping out with openldap maintaining. He is jokey on freenode. I (strerror) will be mentoring him.
Jokey has finished his quiz and submitted it. Having looked over it first it seems fine to me.
end quiz sent in, thanks to strerror for all his help
end quiz is fine with me. If I can get this expedited at all that would be great as I am heading off on a holiday soonish and I would like to make sure I have enough time with Markus to go through all the initial commits etc.
All done.
jer@woodpecker ~ $ cat ../jokey/.away Uni takes too much time. Back on Mid Feb 2010 @qa: Maybe it isn't time just yet to start removing jokey's packages.
No idea what this is referring to, but if a package needs to get masked and removed, its going to get masked and removed regardless of the status of the maintainer.
Reopening since Jokey hasn't commit anything since 2011-03-05 - Last (viewable) bugzilla activity: 2011-09-21 - Last CVS activity: 2011-03-05 First mail sent today
Well my diploma is due 18. this month, let's extend it to that to see what I can do with my free time afterwards. If I'll spend it on other stuff, I'll let you know then asap
Any updates on your status jokey?
Sorry guys. For now it seems my workload is too high to dedicate some time to gentoo although I'm even using it on a daily basis at work. So as long as this doesn't change, I better officially retire until I have time to properly come back (which definitely will happen after summer as we are planning a project which will involve a bunch of testing and developing on portage-tree fork (which should in turn be merged back)

If Markus fail to set a devaway within a month then we will proceed with the rest of the retirement process
(In reply to comment #14) > Lets clean bugs, metadata etc like we do with all retirements but don't > assign this bug to infra (yet). If Markus fail to set a devaway within a > month then we will proceed with the rest of the retirement process Markus?!, only six days remaining ;)
Proceeding then, thanks for your work and good luck!
