incorrect ebuild deps
same here
This will be solved by upgrading to fxscintilla-1.71 (or fxscintilla-1.62-r1, which already includes the correct deps)
*** Bug 159291 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. ***
(In reply to comment #3) > This will be solved by upgrading to fxscintilla-1.71 (or fxscintilla-1.62-r1, > which already includes the correct deps) Is there anything preventing the stabilization of fxscintilla-1.62-r*?
This bug is also preventing dev-ruby/fxruby-1.2.2 from being built. You have a package which does not build in the tree. 'It will be solved by upgrading' doesn't really cut it. Can you please try to get -r* stable?
x86: can you please stable fxscintilla-1.71? sparc: can you please stable fxscintilla-1.62-r2? (check if it works wrt bug #158550 ) I'll add alpha on 18 Feb for fxscintilla-1.71, no point in pestering them twice.
fxruby 1.2.2 fails with fxscintilla 1.71 on x86, fxruby 1.4.x runs fine.
x11-libs/fxscintilla-1.71 USE="doc" 1. emerges on x86 2. passes collision test 3. dev-ruby/fxruby-1.2.2 doesn't emerge (see comment 8), but dev-ruby/fxruby-1.2.6 emerges Portage 2.1.1-r2 (default-linux/x86/2006.1/desktop, gcc-4.1.1, glibc-2.4-r4, 2.6.19.2 i686) ================================================================= System uname: 2.6.19.2 i686 Genuine Intel(R) CPU T2300 @ 1.66GHz Gentoo Base System version 1.12.6 Last Sync: Sat, 03 Feb 2007 10:00:01 +0000 app-admin/eselect-compiler: [Not Present] dev-java/java-config: 1.3.7, 2.0.31 dev-lang/python: 2.3.5-r3, 2.4.3-r4 dev-python/pycrypto: 2.0.1-r5 dev-util/ccache: [Not Present] dev-util/confcache: [Not Present] sys-apps/sandbox: 1.2.17 sys-devel/autoconf: 2.13, 2.61 sys-devel/automake: 1.4_p6, 1.5, 1.6.3, 1.7.9-r1, 1.8.5-r3, 1.9.6-r2, 1.10 sys-devel/binutils: 2.16.1-r3 sys-devel/gcc-config: 1.3.14 sys-devel/libtool: 1.5.22 virtual/os-headers: 2.6.17-r2 ACCEPT_KEYWORDS="x86" AUTOCLEAN="yes" CBUILD="i686-pc-linux-gnu" CFLAGS="-O2 -march=prescott -pipe -fomit-frame-pointer" CHOST="i686-pc-linux-gnu" CONFIG_PROTECT="/etc /usr/kde/3.5/env /usr/kde/3.5/share/config /usr/kde/3.5/shutdown /usr/share/X11/xkb /usr/share/config" CONFIG_PROTECT_MASK="/etc/env.d /etc/env.d/java/ /etc/gconf /etc/java-config/vms/ /etc/revdep-rebuild /etc/terminfo /etc/texmf/web2c" CXXFLAGS="-O2 -march=prescott -pipe -fomit-frame-pointer" DISTDIR="/usr/portage/distfiles" EMERGE_DEFAULT_OPTS="--nospinner" FEATURES="autoconfig collision-protect distlocks metadata-transfer parallel-fetch sandbox sfperms strict test userfetch userpriv usersandbox" GENTOO_MIRRORS="http://mirror.switch.ch/mirror/gentoo/ http://gentoo.inode.at/" LINGUAS="en de en_GB de_CH" MAKEOPTS="-j3" PKGDIR="/usr/portage/packages" PORTAGE_RSYNC_OPTS="--recursive --links --safe-links --perms --times --compress --force --whole-file --delete --delete-after --stats --timeout=180 --exclude='/distfiles' --exclude='/local' --exclude='/packages'" PORTAGE_TMPDIR="/var/tmp" PORTDIR="/usr/portage" SYNC="rsync://rsync.gentoo.org/gentoo-portage" USE="x86 X a52 aac acpi alsa apache2 asf berkdb bitmap-fonts cairo cdr cdrom cli cracklib crypt cups dbus divx dlloader dri dts dvd dvdr dvdread eds elibc_glibc emboss encode fam ffmpeg firefox flac fortran gdbm gif gnome gpm gstreamer gtk hal iconv input_devices_keyboard input_devices_mouse ipv6 isdnlog java jpeg kde kdeenablefinal kernel_linux ldap libg++ linguas_de linguas_de_CH linguas_en linguas_en_GB mad midi mikmod mmx mono mp3 mpeg ncurses nls nptl nptlonly ogg opengl oss pam pcre perl png ppds pppd python qt3 qt4 quicktime readline reflection rtsp ruby samba sdl session smp spell spl sse sse2 sse3 ssl svg tcpd test tetex theora threads truetype truetype-fonts type1-fonts udev unicode userland_GNU vcd video_cards_fbdev video_cards_i810 video_cards_vesa vorbis win32codecs wxwindows x264 xine xml xorg xprint xv xvid zlib" Unset: CTARGET, INSTALL_MASK, LANG, LC_ALL, LDFLAGS, PORTAGE_RSYNC_EXTRA_OPTS, PORTDIR_OVERLAY
Narf. I'll issue stable requests for fxruby-1.{2,4,6} shortly then. Completly forgot bumping love for this one :|
Readd us after newer fxruby is stabilized for x86, thanks.
x86 done
Building fxscintilla-1.71 against fox-1.2.18-r1 is broken here on ppc. The test apps under build_1_4 and build_1_6 dirs work fine, but the one in build_1_2 aborts with a memory error (I'll attach backtrace). I will try fxscintilla-1.6.2-r2 next, and if that works fxruby-1.2.6 is good-to-go on ppc - scintilla was only problem on my first fxruby build (Bug 165352).
Created attachment 111964 [details] backtrace from abort on ppc when built against fox-1.2
alpha, i've forgotten you, sorry. target stable: x11-libs/fxscintilla-1.71 @sparc: i'll put some time into the issue maybe next week, so we can kill fxscintilla-1.62* this crap is *really* outdated.
Following files with fxscintilla don't pass multilib-strict test. Please use multilib.eclass to make it pass. Files matching a file type that is not allowed: usr/lib/libfxscintillanolexer-1.6.so.5.13.1 usr/lib/libfxscintilla-1.4.so.18.1.1 usr/lib/libfxscintillanolexer-1.2.so.5.13.1 usr/lib/libfxscintilla-1.6.so.18.1.1 usr/lib/libfxscintillanolexer-1.4.so.5.13.1 usr/lib/libfxscintilla-1.2.so.18.1.1
Wormo: 1.62-r2's testcase is just fine, this is a regression. Unfortunatly upstream is dead, and i'm not into diving into years old code. fox-1.2 is going away over the next months, so this should not be a concern.. Opfer: i've a fixed ebuild compiling here now, see it up as fxscintilla-1.71-r1 later :)
amd64 stable
Yes, this is another call, just 9 days after i introduced 1.71-r1 to the tree. The only thing changing is fxscintilla not building against fox-1.2 anymore, so that should be as safe a bump as possible. You can wait the usual 30 days, but i encourage you to just stick your stable keyword on it so i can finally kill all the cruft hanging on the older versions.
Stable for HPPA.
sparc unmasked and stable.
x86/amd64 stable
ppc64 stable
alpha was done by kloeri long ago. All arches have 1.71-r1 stable. Closing.
