The x11-libs/Xaw3d-ebuild requires xmkmf, the modular ebuilds don't contain an ebuild for xmkmf. Don't know if xmkmf should be added or Xaw3d fixed not to use it any more. Package has no metadata, tgall was the last one who touched it (beside keyworders).
kcontrol and kdm also depend on xmkmf, at least for kcontrol it can be removed. From the kcontrol-ebuild: # kdm/configure.in.in is needed for KDE_CONFDIR, can be removed for beta1 # kioslave/thumbnail/configure.in.in is needed for HAVE_LIBART, can be removed # for beta1
We can't do anything about this yet because imake isn't modularized yet, and xmkmf just wraps it. It might be useful if you could file an upstream bug at bugs.freedesktop.org, xorg product, modular component, because I didn't see modularizing imake on the RC1 todo list. If you do, post the URL here.
xorg cvs, module util, subdirs imake and xmkmf. Aren't those the modular ones?
(In reply to comment #3) > xorg cvs, module util, subdirs imake and xmkmf. Aren't those the modular ones? Yes. Note the lack of autotool build files in imake/. Also imake will need the cf/ files installed and configured to work properly.
xorg bug filled: https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=4566
Set URL and added myself to upstream CC.

Just to update: there are currently a couple bugs with imake and xorg-cf-files that need fixing. I have the ebuilds ready, so hopefully this will be good to go soon.
This package is available now. gccmakedep is still not, however...
Marking fixed. I forgot to add, gccmakedep has an open bug and is a release blocker. It'll get fixed for 7.0 final.
