Follow-up to bug#106200 
 
Went to comp store checked ram & hardware all ok - this is a new install after getting new hard 
drive - base loaded minimal kde, cannot compile ANY programs

Is it reproduceable in the same place every time?

If you cannot compile ANY programs then it's most likely a hardware problem.

Looks the same as first time run don't think this is a hardware problem

Strange, something must have gotten screwed up in the beginning. perhaps messed
up time settings? Try compiling the newer gcc 3.4.* (unstable) and see if the
problem still occurs/ where it occurs.

No response on bug, it does appear to be compiler/hardware issue. Please reopen 
if this is still an issue.
